Under European legislation, you may be entitled to compensation ranging from €250 to €600, depending on the flight distance. The deadline for submitting a compensation claim for a delayed or cancelled flight is 6 months from the originally scheduled departure date.
When Can You Claim Compensation from the Airline?
Missed Connecting FlightA passenger is entitled to compensation if they miss a connecting flight and arrive at their final destination 3 hours or more later than the scheduled arrival time.
Flight DelayA passenger is entitled to compensation if their flight arrives at the final destination 3 hours or more later than the scheduled arrival time.
Flight Cancellation & Ticket RefundsA passenger is entitled to compensation if they miss a connecting flight and arrive at their final destination 3 hours or more later than the scheduled arrival time.
Denied BoardingA passenger is entitled to compensation if they are denied boarding due to overbooking.
Delayed or Lost LuggageA passenger is entitled to compensation for lost luggage if their baggage is not returned within 21 days. For delayed luggage upon arrival at the destination, passengers are entitled to reimbursement for necessary essential purchases.
